James Tompson: Operations Manager
James joined VoIP in May 2007. He is responsible for the Sydney based Service Desk and the VoIP technical team located around Australia.
James is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology, Sydney.
In the 1980’s, James held a number of roles associated with the Australian introduction of Small Business Key Telephone Systems which triggered major growth in this market.
His special area of interest is real time software controlled systems, most recently in development and implementation of Next Generation Network softswitches to ITU-IMS-TISPAN standards.
James brings more than 35 years of telecommunications industry experience in Carrier and Enterprise Business Solutions in product management, research & development, manufacturing, installation, maintenance, support and general management roles from Australia and overseas.
James is focused on customer satisfaction through high quality and timely delivery of technical services by VoIP’s highly trained and certified technical team.
